YWCA Moncton’s Resource Centre offers support and information to the community regarding eating disorders, healthy body image, self-esteem and self-care. We also have a number of publications for those who may required increased support to achieve wellness, many of which are based on harm-reduction approaches. We are also able to refer clients living with eating disorders to local counselors (please contact us directly regarding support for eating disorders).
We regularly offer Rainbows, a grief-support program for children, youth and adults. This group-based program fosters emotional healing for  those grieving a loss due to a life-altering crisis (death of a loved one, changing family dynamics, etc.). Participants meet once a week for 12 weeks to work through a Rainbows journal. Learn more about the Rainbows here. For more information on upcoming Rainbows sessions or to request one in your community, please contact our Rainbows program coordinator, Heather Richards at (506) 855-4349 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
