Learning to leave your anger behind

How does anger get passed from one generation to the next? Why do angry fathers and mothers breed angry sons and daughters? Why do so many angry men and women gold on to so much resentment? These are some of the questions you may find answers to. Much of what we learn as children comes from our parents and family. Our environments, and the formative atmosphere that shapes our personality may well be the strongest influence of all. "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree", especially when it comes to Anger. GriefOur HeartRecovery® Outreach Program

If you are considering taking this program, there is a high probability that your heart is broken.  There are many events that can trigger the pain and confusion of grief; the death of a loved one, the break up of a romantic relationship, financial changes, and health issues head the list.

At times our lives are powerfully affected by change, and we don’t know what to do to help ourselves deal with the emotions we experience.  There is a difference between those who resolve their pain and those who don’t.  The people who recover follow a well-defined plan.

The Grief Our HeartRecovery® Outreach Program is designed to give you the information necessary to recover from loss.  It has much to offer anyone who truly wants to feel better. This six week program will begin on Wednesday February 13th, 2008, from 6:30 - 8:30pm. Facilitators: Daniel Baker,B.Ed., Certified Grief Recovery Specialist & Roy Gould, M.Ed., CCC, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist.
