Our Journey

LeVeg grew out of a bold initiative launches by YWCA Moncton in 2019 when we transitioneds the menu at Margie's Early Learning Center to a fully plant-based offering. This decision was guided by our desire to provide nutritious meals while reducing our carbon footprint, ensuring a healthier future for the children in our care and the planet they will inherit.

The success of this project inspired the creation of LeVeg, officially launched in 2024 as a social enterprise. Today, we’re proud to serve nutritious, high-quality, and sustainable food while actively supporting YWCA Moncton’s programs that empower women, girls, and gender-diverse individuals.

At LeVeg, every meal served contributes to reducing our environmental footprint, educating the community, and furthering the mission of YWCA Moncton.
